Workshop on Improved Agricultural Yield (I)

Responses from Participants:

(a) The women Leader Mrs. Eno Archibong Daniel thanked the Women & Community Livelihood Foundation for her selfless sacrifice and interest in the welfare of the rural women and promised to put what they have learnt into practice.
(b) Chief Daniel Ukpaha, on behalf of the village council, thanked organization for remembering the rural women and prayed God to reward the Organization for the selfless effort.

Success Story:

The organization was able to:

  • The organization was able to teach the participants the modern farming techniques for improved agric yield for their use and for commercial purpose to increase their income.
  • The participants were taught how to raise rabbits as a means of income.
  • The participants were given fertilizers and improved agricultural seeds for their farms.

Challenges:

Several challenges faced include:

  • Inadequate funding
  • Lack of vehicle
  • Poor community response.
  • Lack of IT equipments to enhance quality work.

Presentation of improved seeds and fertilizer to a beneficiary by the Director.
